  71. Basic Instructions:

  73. ‚Ä¢The Index card holds a list of keywords.  Clicking on one of them will take you to a reference card.
  74.  
  75. ‚Ä¢Clicking the Edit button in a reference card allows you to add/edit text in the scrolling field.
  76.  
  77. ‚Ä¢Clicking the Lock button in a reference card allows navigation to other reference cards by clicking on asterisked words.
  78.  
  79. ‚Ä¢You can create a new reference card by Option-Clicking on a word when the text field is locked (when the Edit button is showing).
  80.  
  81. ‚Ä¢After a session in XrefText, it is strongly recommended to Re-Index the stack, listing the new keywords, and reducing the chance for lookup ambiguities.

  83. ‚Ä¢The small "icon" buttons in the blacked-out menubar area are explained above.

  85. ‚Ä¢Note: The button at the bottom left of the index card places a custom-icon button on your home card that will work for this or any future XrefText-based stack generated by the New Stack button.  The button is named to the name of the stack and refers to that name when invoked.  Once you've got the button where you want it, do NOT change its name.
